TRB Centennial and Women's History Month - Research Profiles - Julie Fee

"Every day more problems are identified than resources are available to solve, but some effort must address the future. This visionary aspect is important if we are to advance as a society. The trade-offs that must be made in the allocation of resources pose a serious problem for research management. How to achieve an effective balance is certainly a great challenge for budget decision makers." TR News: Radical logistics in the heavy traffic of the Burning Man Festival

Each summer, tens of thousands of people journey to the Nevada desert by land and by air to participate in a unique event.
